Terms

Digital Product Imaging (dpi) provide professional services subject to the following terms and conditions:

Acceptance of projects is at the discretion of dpi and will be subject to the terms and conditions on this webpage.
Deposits: dpi reserves the right to require a deposit or full payment in advance before commencing a project. This will be returned in accordance with the Satisfaction Guarantee or offset against final invoice.
Modifications: Fixed Price projects will be conducted on the basis of the specification agreed at the time of booking. We will always try to accommodate changes and suggestions. Significant amendments and enhancements to the scope of a fixed price project that are requested by the client will incur additional charges. The client will be informed of this at the time amendments are agreed.
Satisfaction Guarantee: Fixed Price projects include a Satisfaction Guarantee. The Client will be provided with 1/4 resolution watermarked proofs via the Internet. The client is free to decline the images at this stage and no payment in respect of the professional services for the project will be due. Images will be deleted and not used by dpi . No additional compensation will be payable to the client and if return shipping is arranged by dpi it will be chargeable at cost + 20%. The Satisfaction Guarantee is in addition to the client's statutory rights.
Special Projects: A firm price agreed based on the project specification. If the project costs are likely to exceed this estimate by 10% the client will be advised. Because of the extended scope, Special Projects can only include a limited Satisfaction Guarantee. At an early stage in the project watermarked draft proofs will be provided and at this point the client can decline to continue without any charges becoming due.
Delays: Whist we will make every reasonable endeavour to meet agreed delivery schedules we will not be held liable for actual or consequential losses in the event of delays.
Fast Track: Fixed price projects can be fast tracked for an additional 40% charge.
Insurance: dpi will take reasonable care of your product(s) but cannot be held responsible for loss or damage. It is the client's responsibility to insure their property on an "all risks" basis.
Payment: On approval of proofs and delivery of images (without watermark) via CD or internet an invoice will be raised and will be due for payment within 30 days. dpi reserves the right to add a pro-rata service charge at 3% per month on overdue accounts.
Shipping: Delivery of project materials to dpi will be at the clients expense. Inclusive return shipping arranged by dpi is based on economy delivery services within the UK and basic insurance of £20. Faster shipping and higher insurance level can be arranged at cost + 20%
General Copyright: Images are supplied specifically for use on the client's website or print promotional materials and are not licenced for use as stock photography or resale. dpi may, at its discretion, use client's images in its own promotional materials.
